The Green Living Education Foundation

Our Vision and Mission

The Green Living Education Foundation aspires and commits itself to the education of “green living ”— conducting one's life according to the laws of Nature — in Hong Kong.

As such, the foundation formed “Club O” as a platform to reach out to people.

In specific terms, that entails pro-active efforts to encourage, ensure and empower Hongkongers to care about and practice the following:

1. Micro-wellbeing — personal health concerns.

2. Macro-wellbeing — ecological concerns


We provide regular activities and services including:

Zen meal

Characterised as S.H.E. (Simple and savory, Healthy and hearty, Ecological and enjoyable), Zen meals can nourish the body and soul, enhance positive energy and be the moment of being grateful for.

Qi-gong class

Literally meant ‘fragrant qi-gong’, qi-gong effectively strengthens our internal energy. By practicing the exercise amidst a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, you will begin to feel a connection with the universe.

Seminar on Green Living

The seminar creates a platform for speakers from various backgrounds to share and discuss viewpoints on different topics about green living. You can well be inspired and enlightened.

Our healers happily provide their services voluntarily in a caring environment, hoping to assist those in their healing journey towards an overall well-being.

Healing Night

Talks are given to provide you with the insights of living a healthy life and the wisdom of healing. Our healers also bring to you the perfect energy field for healing purpose.

Handouts about hand therapy are offered for free.

Hand Therapy Course

Held every three months, this intensive course aims to bring participants to a desirable state of mind for utilizing their natural powers residing in them to perform healing work.


Free Qi Gong treatment


Our Qi-gong Master offers free treatment to the members and cures the disease by sending healing energy to them.

Meditation retreat

Give yourself a chance to a real retreat from the busy city life, allow yourself to perform ultimate internal cleansing through fasting. You will become a more relaxing, confident, peaceful and happy person.

Held seasonally at farms or camp sites in Hong Kong


Cooking demonstration


Cooking demonstration will be performed by our voluntary chefs and they will show you some practical ideas of preparing healthy and delicious veggie dishes.

Counseling service

Counseling service is provided by our hypnotherapists on a one-to-one basis.

  1. Green Living Activity Centre – offering workshops, cooking and gardening demonstrations, seminars, day-camps, retreats, etc. for local families and specific groups (e.g. schoolchildren, senior citizens, teachers).
  2. Green Living Resource Centre – setting up a library and developing a data base, conducting surveys and handling enquiries.
  3. Publication work - publishing books, newsletters, information packs, leaflets and audio-visual materials for educational purpose.
  4. Media work – producing television and radio programmes, writing columns for printed media and disseminating Green Living ideas.
  5. Internet work – setting up online data base and conducting webcasting.
  6. Service for members – providing counseling services and offering activities enhancing our members’ well being in body, mind and spirit.
  7. Outreaching work – delivering seminars, demonstrations, workshops and programmes to local organizations and educational institutions.
  8. Green Store – running a store selling eco-friendly foods and products at reasonably low prices.
